Consumer

The Centre for Clinical Effectiveness (CCE) provides a range of activities designed to support integration of consumer views into healthcare decision-making.

To enable evidence-based practice (EBP) within Southern Health we provide:

education and training in methods to identify consumer views and integrate them into decision-making for development of new services and clinical guidelines
project support and assistance to individuals and groups in how to involve consumers in their projects and access and use consumer views in decision-making

We also undertake this kind of work for other agencies by commission.
