Evidence-Based Answers to Clinical Questions for Busy Clinicians (2008)
This workbook helps busy clinicians to find the best available evidence to answer clinical questions, in the shortest possible time.  It introduces the principles of evidence-based practice and provides a foundation of understanding and skills in developing questions that are answerable from the literature; searching for evidence to answer the question and appraising the evidence identified for quality, reliability, accuracy and relevance.

Finding the Evidence: Guide to the best available evidence to support introduction of New Technologies & Clinical Practices (2008)

CCE Evidence Reviews

Current (2005 - 2008).  This page holds pdf files of all current CCE Evidence Reviews.

Archived (1998 - 2004).  This page links to archived CCE Evidence Reviews. These reviews are not current and have been archived because it is likely that more recent evidence exists that might change the conclusions of the reviews. These reviews should not be used to support clinical decision-making without new searches being undertaken to identify more recently published evidence. The reviews may be of value to researchers conducting systematic reviews who can update them by rerunning the searches forward from the search date.

Compilation of websites to access Australian healthcare information.  The sites have been nominated by librarians as potentially useful for one of two reasons, they are an Australian organisation/service with a primary and explicit interest in evidence-based practice or they are a database which indexed Australian health literature.

The Cochrane Library
