Health for Kids and the Victorian Public Healthcare Awards

The Victorian Public Healthcare Awards celebrate quality, innovation and excellence in public healthcare and honour dedication and expertise of the people who provide public healthcare to the Victorian community.

Thanks to your involvement, the Health for Kids project was highly commended at the inaugural 2005 Awards under the category of Excellence in Consumer Participation in Healthcare Management.

Looking for Families

The Health for Kids team know that it makes sense to ask the advice of families who have experienced the system first-hand. We would like to invite you and your family to be a part of the new Consumer Participation Program in the Children’s Program at Southern Health.

Coordinating Care for Kids

The aim of the project is to improve health outcomes for children and young people who have a disability, a chronic illness or may have been born prematurely and require care from multiple health professionals and services.
